Mineral Moon
This image displays the reality of what our moon looks like naturally on it's surface. Mineral deposits reside all along the moon's surgface; blue and brownish-orange tones represent varieties of residing iron, oxygen, oluvine, magnesium & silicon.
This image is a composite of over 100 stacked high-resolution images taken with a 600mm lens shot at a 1.5 crop factor (900mm equivalent). Taken on the full moon of January, 2022.
Location: Death Valley National Park.
