Bristlecone Sunset
Bristlecone Pines are the oldest known trees known to scientists. Located in the high altitudes of the White Mountains of California lies groves of Bristlecones (Shulman & Patriarch) that are 4000-5000 years old. This image was captured in August, 2022 and highlights the dramatic weather in this high-altitude region, in addition to the majestic nature of the Bristlecone Pines.
